We ended up going to the doctor's this past Monday. Owen has the common cold with no secondary infection, i.e. it has not moved into his chest or ears, so that was good news! He is getting steadily better, and continues to put on weight appropriately. He weighed in at 7lbs. 1oz on his 5 week b-day. He's even starting to outgrow some outfits! Soon he'll be wearing 0-3M sizes instead of newborn! He's also starting to have much more awake time, which means we get to see his big blue eyes more often! In addition, he is starting to make noises other than crying and the plethora of grunts and groans we hear through the monitor as he sleeps. My favourite noise is an "a-oo". Think very high pitched owl. Next milestone is smiling...I'll keep you posted!  |
